Alexsandro Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Leal having to interfere. Tradição Futebol Clube's Telmo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Trevisan in the 46th minute of play. If Alexsandro Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Alexsandro Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Samuel Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Bueno hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tradição Futebol Clube's Dida Linares got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 76 played minutes Osbravos EC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Alves. After 79 played minutes, Tradição Futebol Clube's Orlando Cabral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tradição Futebol Clube reached it. Samuel Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Domingues in the 81st minute of the match. Valdo Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Osbravos EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
