Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Salgado to make the kick off. FC Pankakes's Manfredo Vidal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Laerte Urbano in the 56 minute of the game. The supporters of Cariacica booed when FC Pankakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Manfredo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cariacica may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Pankakes were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
