Sebastião de Brito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Quintal came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastião de Brito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Osbravos EC's goalkeeper Samuel Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião de Brito. Sebastião de Brito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Samuel Quintal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sebastião de Brito in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Quintal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Carlinhos Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Samuel Quintal to make any attempt to save it. Sebastião de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Samuel Quintal made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Osbravos EC's goalkeeper Samuel Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Sena. After 37 played minutes Osbravos EC got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Albuquerque. Gonçalense F.C's Elias Camargo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samuel Quintal but with some difficulty. Alexsandro Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Osbravos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho de Amaral came free, but Samuel Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Gonçalense F.C were awarded a corner. Elias Camargo went to the cornerflag to take it. Gonçalense F.C's Elias Camargo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samuel Quintal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Samuel Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Brito in the 67th minute of play. Samuel Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 68 minutes, Edvaldo Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osbravos EC and the Gonçalense F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gonçalense F.C booed when Osbravos EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Elias Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Santana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Róbson Schmidt. Gonçalense F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Osbravos EC's Fred de Almeida got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of Osbravos EC booed when Gonçalense F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alexsandro Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalense F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
