Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ediberto Paranaense to make the kick off. When Ediberto Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joana EC's protests and gave Ediberto Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mugiwaras AL FC's zone, Ediberto Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Viana came out of the goal and Ediberto Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mugiwaras AL FC's Chicão Munhoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dito Urbano. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. Lúcio Abreu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Dito Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mugiwaras AL FC. Sílvio Luís Paraíba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dito Urbano came out and tried to block the shot, but Sílvio Luís Paraíba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 82nd minute. Chicão Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Urbano having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Mugiwaras AL FC's Sílvio Luís Paraíba made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there!
