Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Toninho de Castro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Haroldo de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Joana EC's Haroldo de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lúcio Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo de Salles in the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Noel Brito got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dito Urbano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Gracismoes booed when Joana EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Joana EC's Magno Alves got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gracismoes's Toninho de Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Noel Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Brito in the 29th minute. Edvaldo Botelho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Haroldo de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lúcio Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Ediberto Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The supporters of Joana EC booed when Gracismoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lúcio Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Toninho de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gracismoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho de Castro couldn't finish the play. Toninho de Castro struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dito Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracismoes. In the 64th minute Toninho de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Noel Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dito Urbano. Joana EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Noel Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lúcio Terra skillfully saved the ball. After 86 played minutes, Gracismoes's Edvaldo Botelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dito Urbano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gracismoes reached it. Dito Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho de Castro in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Joana EC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho de Castro came free, but Dito Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joana EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gracismoes.
