Spectators: 7543 (Terracing: 5659, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Paulo Fernandes kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Dark Dragons's goalkeeper Felipe Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabi Gol. Luiz Fabiano de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Pires having to interfere. Elder Alcântara's late challenge caught a Dark Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Goianésia E.C's Elder Alcântara got a free kick in the 14th minute. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Fernandes in the 15th minute of play. Felipe Pires came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Goianésia E.C's Luiz Fabiano de Sousa. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 19 minutes into the match, Fred Penha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Pires, 4-0. Gabi Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabi Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Felipe Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Dark Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Tiago Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano de Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Paulo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabi Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Laerte Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dark Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gabi Gol made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Felipe Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goianésia E.C. Felipe Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Gabi Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Pires. Dark Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabi Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 64 minutes of play, Goianésia E.C's Fred Penha made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Dark Dragons getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alan Penha hit a great ball. Gabi Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Fred Penha struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Felipe Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goianésia E.C. Felipe Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Gol's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Penha in the 82nd minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte Almeida. The crowd rose to their feet as Dark Dragons's Laerte Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Balonek. That made the score 6-1 after 92 minutes of play. There was no doubt that Goianésia E.C were the better team. Goianésia E.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
