Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) SDR F.C's Afonso Capixaba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SDR F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teodoro Lemos 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Geovani Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Serafo in the 13th minute. With a little luck, SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno got control of the ball when Teodoro Lemos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovani Moreno came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Sumaré's Teodoro Lemos. But to his dismay, Teodoro Lemos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcinho Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão de Souza made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Red Bull Sumaré's Flávio Baptista. SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Lemos in the 32nd minute of play. Inácio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, SDR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Lemos came free, but Geovani Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Red Bull Sumaré booed when SDR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
51 minutes into the game, Guto da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SDR F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Sumaré the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, SDR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto da Mata to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Teodoro Lemos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geovani Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Emanuel de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Lemos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Teodoro Lemos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SDR F.C's Geovani Moreno. Geovani Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geovani Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Lemos's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Isidro Serafo scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovani Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SDR F.C getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zé Paulo Lago hit a great ball. Marcinho Santana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Neves in the 78th minute of play forced Red Bull Sumaré's goalkeeper Bernardo Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes Red Bull Sumaré's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emerson Lago who took care of the corner kick. In the 82nd minute Teodoro Lemos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Serafo in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Teodoro Lemos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Sumaré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The throw-in from Guto da Mata in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Bull Sumaré's Jorginho Salles. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Lemos in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Moreno saved SDR F.C from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Red Bull Sumaré players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
