Comandahy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cícero Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Comandahy FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Souto. A collision led to Comandahy FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Donato Vidal hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dráusio Munhoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Luiz Vinhas. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 37 played minutes S.E PALMEIRAS got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Aparecido. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ediberto da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E PALMEIRAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Comandahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Munhoz came free, but Pedro Luiz Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E PALMEIRAS's Richard Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Salles in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to S.E PALMEIRAS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nilmar Cavalcante hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléberson Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Salles in the 54th minute of play forced S.E PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Richard Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76thth minute of the game Cícero Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Comandahy FC's Pedro Luiz Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléberson Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Richard Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes S.E PALMEIRAS got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Leal. S.E PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kléberson Salles 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Basílio Correia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Richard Massa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
