Quintinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Umberto Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, S.E PALMEIRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Ramalho came free, but Richard Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Gilberto Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quintinos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, 毛冰泉 took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Richard Massa to make any attempt to save it. Gilberto Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. S.E PALMEIRAS's Richard Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save S.E PALMEIRAS from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes, Jerônimo Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E PALMEIRAS and the Quintinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.E PALMEIRAS's Jerônimo Sá got a free kick in the 37th minute. 毛冰泉 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Richard Massa made a huge save. Richard Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 毛冰泉 in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Quintinos's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto da Cunha came free, but Ramiro Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Quintinos's Gilson Zanette seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilson Zanette the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quintinos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilson Zanette had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Munhoz made a kick off. Ramiro Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Monteiro during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of S.E PALMEIRAS booed when Quintinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in S.E PALMEIRAS's zone, 毛冰泉 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Massa came out of the goal and 毛冰泉 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S.E PALMEIRAS's Jerônimo Sá got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Jerônimo Sá off the ground. Jerônimo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Quintinos's 毛冰泉 made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Massa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Quintinos's Ramiro Loureiro got control of the ball when Ediberto da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ediberto da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quintinos's Eriberto Cosme got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E PALMEIRAS's goalkeeper Richard Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 毛冰泉 in the 93rd minute of the match. Ediberto da Cunha came free with the goalkeeper in the 101st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramiro Loureiro could save by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quintinos fully deserved thier win.
