The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Catarinense got free with Fausto Pires in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Donatello having to interfere. João Augusto Mazza in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Pires, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, Donato Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Pires, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Catarinense in the 76th minute of play forced Rodo FC's goalkeeper Fausto Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Donatello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio Vergílio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Horácio Vergílio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Horácio Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Catarinense went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Jacarau SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
