In the 93rd minute, 何树骋 made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando Trevisan. Goiás E. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 96 minutes into the game, José Carlos Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás E. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcílio Dias the free kick. The supporters of Marcílio Dias booed when Goiás E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcílio Dias's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
