Guaraniaçu PR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ec Vitória the free kick. The supporters of Ec Vitória booed when Guaraniaçu PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Frank Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ec Vitória's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Belmiro Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ec Vitória fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Simão Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Galvão in the 59th minute of the match.
