Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Valladares started the match with the kick off. Jeremias Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Sulacap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Senna in the 7th minute of play forced Sulacap's goalkeeper Jeremias Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Vitinho Senna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jeremias Baptista to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute, Turiassu's Alan Valladares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 16 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sulacap and the Turiassu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Sulacap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguinho Alvarenga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Geovani Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Coelho in the 25th minute of the match. Geovani Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jeremias Baptista was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Vitinho Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vitinho Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Jeremias Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Valladares in the 33rd minute of the match. Sulacap's Jeremias Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Senna in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos Meireles got free with Jeremias Baptista in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Alan Valladares took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jeremias Baptista to make any attempt to save it. Jeremias Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Viana in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Valladares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremias Baptista. That made the score 5-0 in the 44 minute of play.

Jeremias Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Barral in the 53rd minute of the match. Tião Lago lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of Turiassu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Turiassu. In the 57th minute of the game, Sulacap got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sulacap's zone, Walmir Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Baptista came out of the goal and Walmir Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jouke Koole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sulacap getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Evandro Castro hit a great ball. João Augusto Lima hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Ulysses Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th match minute, Sulacap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Zé Carlos Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Turiassu's Zé Carlos Meireles made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Baptista came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Turiassu's Zé Carlos Meireles. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 92 minutes into the game, Vitinho Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Jeremias Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th match minute, Sulacap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Viana took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Baptista. Jeremias Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Turiassu had played much better football throughout.
