After 26 minutes of play, B1 Vegetal's Jorginho Rodrigues made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmundo Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Arnaldo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Loyola in the 36th minute of the match. Jorginho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gualter Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but César Silva made a huge save. César Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Trigo in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half B1 Vegetal were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

B1 Vegetal's Jorginho Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Silva having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Arnaldo Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The B1 Vegetal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 69th minute, Enéas Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Arnaldo Loyola could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Edmundo Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. Agostinho de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Mauro Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored B1 Vegetal's protests and gave Mauro Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. Piauna EC's Durvalino Vasconcelos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for B1 Vegetal. Acácio Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acácio Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enéas Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
