The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Deu Zebra FC's Timoteo Tono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Piauna EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mister Bean came free, but Edmundo Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Bittencourt in the 42nd minute of play. Jano Abraão took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Nascimento. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Durvalino Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. The goalkeeper, Zé Paulo Simões, was totally fooled by Piauna EC's Durvalino Vasconcelos, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jano Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Piauna EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Vianna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Abraão in the 92nd minute of play forced Piauna EC's goalkeeper Edmundo Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Piauna EC's goal looked a bit too open when Mister Bean came free, but Edmundo Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deu Zebra FC had played much better football throughout.
