An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Fontes in the 11th minute of play forced Cowboys's goalkeeper Nicolas Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Rosado came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Canarinho FC's Nilson Fontes. But to his dismay, Nilson Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Amadeu Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cowboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 29th minute, Tadeu Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canarinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Vladimir Salgado struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Nicolas Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho FC. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canarinho FC! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Cowboys. Geovani Moura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremias Brodel. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chico de Sousa tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nicolas Rosado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Fontes got free with Nicolas Rosado in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Cowboys getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Amadeu Arósio hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Nilson Fontes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 63 minutes into the match, Canarinho FC's Vladimir Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Amadeu Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Arósio in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Brodel saved Canarinho FC from getting behind. Amadeu Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Brodel having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Amadeu Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Brodel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Maurinho Teixeira with Víktor Neto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 96 minutes, Giuseppe de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowboys and the Canarinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cowboys getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Giuseppe de Godoi hit a great ball. The Cowboys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canarinho FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Canarinho FC.
