Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Favinhas FC's Amadeu da Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Tostão Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenílson Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Avahy's Jano Queirós got a free kick in the 6th minute. Davi Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, Favinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório da Rocha in the 14th minute of play. When Jano Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avahy's protests and gave Jano Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. If José Vítor Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu da Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório da Rocha in the 28th minute of play forced Favinhas FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adelino Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Favinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Araújo couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Avahy's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu da Costa came free, but Alberto Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu da Costa. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Davi Senna made a kick off. When Avahy's Vitório da Rocha in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Favinhas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lenílson Tepedino was a little too slow when Davi Senna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Lenílson Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Vitório da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. Lenílson Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Vitório da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Favinhas FC booed when Avahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avahy's Alan Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Vitório da Rocha made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Favinhas FC's Lenílson Tepedino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 95 in the game by Vitório da Rocha from a close distance when the talented Lenílson Tepedino managed to make a qualified save. Favinhas FC's players were relieved.
