If Vitório da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitório da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marcinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nando Mello took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Trigo. Alberto Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nando Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alberto Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Senna in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Vitório da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcinho Quintal was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Davi Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davi Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 30th minute Davi Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilberto Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Andrézinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Avahy's Davi Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcinho Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Jano Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Quintal having to make a save.

The wind increased when Davi Senna made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Avahy's Vitório da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório da Rocha in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dread Terror's Germano Vinhas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Vitório da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Quintal. Dread Terror's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dread Terror's zone, Bebeto Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Quintal came out of the goal and Bebeto Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vitório da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Senna in the 69th minute of play. Marcinho Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Dread Terror booed when Avahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitório da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Avahy's Dorian Veiga got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Vitório da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vitório da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Marcinho Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avahy. In the 84th minute, Nando Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marcinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Vitório da Rocha notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal. Marcinho Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avahy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
