FLAVIO JR's Caetano Donatello quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juarês Zanette, made in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th minute, Váldson Ferraz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Tande. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th match minute, FLAVIO JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, FLAVIO JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Team's zone, Enio Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tande came out of the goal and Enio Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, FLAVIO JR's Váldson Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caetano Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Caetano Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Team and the FLAVIO JR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caetano Toscano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FLAVIO JR's Cícero Goiano got a free kick in the 59th minute. FLAVIO JR made a substitution. Betinho Amaral replaced Enio Simões. With an all-out effort, Dark Team's Ciro Urbano threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Toscano in the 63rd minute of play forced FLAVIO JR's goalkeeper Ciro Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Váldson Ferraz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Manuel Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Ferraz in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson Araújo got free with Ciro Urbano in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wanderson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Urbano having to interfere. Mateus Macedo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Dark Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FLAVIO JR:s goal. When Armando Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FLAVIO JR's protests and gave Armando Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Wanderson Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FLAVIO JR's Ronaldão Neiva got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ciro Urbano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanderson Araújo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FLAVIO JR booed when Dark Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the game, Dark Team's Wanderson Araújo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. FLAVIO JR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
