With a little luck, Confiança FC's Cristóvão Rosado got control of the ball when Manfredo Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Hílton Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th match minute, °CuzetaFC°® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Felippe Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the °CuzetaFC°® and the Confiança FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mário Linares to make the kick off. Cristóvão Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Aguiar in the 51st minute of play. After 52 played minutes, °CuzetaFC°®'s Paulão Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristóvão Rosado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in °CuzetaFC°® reached it. Mário Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Rosado having to interfere. José Pedro Alves came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Confiança FC's Manuel Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Manuel Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. °CuzetaFC°®'s Válter Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Manuel Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Confiança FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave °CuzetaFC°® the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Confiança FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Sena to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes of play, °CuzetaFC°®'s Manfredo Dracena made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Rosado was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Mário Linares, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristóvão Rosado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Manfredo Dracena took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristóvão Rosado. Cristóvão Rosado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ian da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Many of Confiança FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Confiança FC may have spent more time on the ball, but °CuzetaFC°® were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
