Juarês Martins took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Vinhas. Vladimir Vinhas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Guga Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Santos in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes HellCat Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Franco. Dito Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas Rezende in the 35th minute. After 35 played minutes SC Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Vale. Jorge Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Silas Rezende's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Genílson Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guga Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Corinthians's Genílson Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Ferreira in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Silas Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Corinthians's Juarês Martins suffered a sore thigh after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 57th match minute, HellCat Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Franco to maneuver through the defense. HellCat Top Team's Rodriguinho Silveira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ademar Palmeira, made in the 60th minute of the game. After 61 minutes of play, HellCat Top Team's Silas Rezende made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genílson Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dito Santos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. SC Corinthians's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Genílson Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Ferreira in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Guga Ferreira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Corinthians's Genílson Mendonça. Genílson Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SC Corinthians getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mané Novaes hit a great ball. Genílson Mendonça came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by HellCat Top Team's Guga Ferreira. But to his dismay, Guga Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 84th minute, Dito Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dito Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vladimir Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HellCat Top Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
