Ian Abbott yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Noviscky's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Pena came free, but Ian Abbott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Abbott was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vicente Amorim. Fabinho Ramos's late challenge caught a Magnatas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabinho Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. Fabinho Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Noviscky getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabinho Ramos hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, one of Noviscky:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Noviscky. In the 32nd minute, Percy Martins made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Terra. Magnatas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 35th minute, Fabinho Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvinho Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magnatas's goalkeeper Danilo Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Noviscky's goalkeeper Ian Abbott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lenílson Pena.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Paraense was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Diniz during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magnatas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noviscky the free kick. Zé Roberto Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Danilo Terra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Braedan Frew. 60 minutes into the game, Danilo das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magnatas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noviscky the free kick. After 60 played minutes Magnatas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo das Neves. Danilo Terra made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sergio Ladio sent off a good shot on target. When Sergio Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Noviscky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Ladio couldn't finish the play. Lenílson Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renatinho Koehler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Acácio Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acácio Custódio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Acácio Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Abbott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Noviscky's Percy Martins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Danilo Terra came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Noviscky's Sergio Ladio. But to his dismay, Sergio Ladio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Percy Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Terra having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Silvinho Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Silvinho Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magnatas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvinho Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Noviscky eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
