The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tejucopapo's Renan Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tejucopapo from getting a goal against them. If César Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Bentinho AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Dracena came free, but Nicolas Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Prata having to interfere. When Amadeu Brito fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tejucopapo's protests and gave Amadeu Brito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Tejucopapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Brito to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Brito got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Amadeu Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The long shot by Christian do Nascimento in the 32nd minute really tested Renan Prata's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. During the 33rd minute of the match Manoel de Brito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manoel de Brito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Manoel de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Tejucopapo got a freekick which was hit by Erik Andrade. 47 minutes into the match, Alfredão de Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Prata. Tejucopapo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredão de Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredão de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredão de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Renan Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bentinho AD's Alfredão de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bentinho AD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Christiano Sanches hit a great ball. Inácio Rossi, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Renan Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão de Carvalho in the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alfredão de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bentinho AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Alfredão de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bentinho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Gaspar might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renan Prata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Gaspar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alfredão de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Tejucopapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Tejucopapo's Hílton Favoretto got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bentinho AD had played much better football throughout.
