Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Giuseppe Veloso got the match started through his kick off. Osmar Lopes made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Rony Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Cláudio Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Rony Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Guarapiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Baiano couldn't finish the play. Rony Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 13 played minutes Tijucucu got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton de Azevedo. Rony Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guarapiranga booed when Tijucucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Lopes having to interfere. When Guarapiranga's Rony Baiano in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tijucucu's goalie prevented a goal. Tijucucu's Osmar Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Tijucucu from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Giuseppe Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rony Baiano in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osmar Lopes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Giuseppe Veloso had several of the Tijucucu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Osmar Lopes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Guarapiranga's Fabrício Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Dante in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Veloso in the 42nd minute of play forced Tijucucu's goalkeeper Osmar Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Baiano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Guarapiranga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 46 minutes into the match, Tijucucu's goalkeeper Osmar Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rony Baiano. After 47 played minutes Guarapiranga got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Guerra. Fabrício Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Borges in the 49th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cido Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tijucucu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 54 minutes, Giuseppe Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarapiranga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giuseppe Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osmar Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osmar Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Veloso in the 60th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Wilton Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarapiranga and the Tijucucu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Guarapiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Fabrício Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Dante in the 70th minute of play. Giuseppe Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tijucucu's Osmar Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Baiano in the 74th minute of play. Giuseppe Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Osmar Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guarapiranga's Rony Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tijucucu's goalkeeper Osmar Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Rony Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giuseppe Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Natanael Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Rony Baiano put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Osmar Lopes. Guarapiranga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
