In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pomerode FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gino Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Silva having to interfere. Dinei Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luís Silva to make the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gino Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltazar Silva was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Ernesto de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Silva in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Quadrada's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Silva came free, but Ernesto de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington Munhoz couldn't finish the play. Luiz Guilherme Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Pomerode FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Romero to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luís Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto de Toledo having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pomerode FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Washington Munhoz hit a great ball. Quadrada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
