The wind increased when Acácio Almeida made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Acácio Almeida sped through Varedao AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Madureira. Júlio Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hermínio da Silveira scored 4-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the C.F. Minas Gerais players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
