That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Sílvio Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Luz having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Sílvio Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Letras FC's Willian Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Vaz in the 18th minute of the match. Leandro Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willian Luz having to make a save. Letras FC's Willian Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Barreto in the 25th minute of play. Beto Andrade made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Giovanni Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Luz. Letras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Eduardo Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luís Guilherme Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Andrade having to interfere. Beto Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovanni Pinheiro in the 35th minute. Giovanni Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Beto Andrade could save by the left post. Beto Andrade was a little too slow when Vito Mello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 45th minute of the match, Giovanni Pinheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beto Andrade was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedro Paulo Trevisan's late challenge caught a Letras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Paulo Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Paulo Trevisan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo Barreto to make the kick off. If Leandro Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute, Poá F.C.'s Luís Eduardo Barreto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Pinheiro in the 59th minute of play forced Poá F.C.'s goalkeeper Beto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willian Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Barreto in the 65th minute of play. Beto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Pinheiro in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Letras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Leandro Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poá F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Poá F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Poá F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Letras FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
