Gilvan Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erivaldo Vinhas's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A hard shot by Digo Costa from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Maurinho Marques's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 45th minute of the match Digo Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurinho Marques skillfully saved the ball. Chicão Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
