The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Bruninho Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Souto having to interfere. Alexandre Chaves's late challenge caught a Colômbia V.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Easy United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Chaves to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Easy United's Enio Britto got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jeremias Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruninho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Colômbia V.T got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Silva. Osvaldinho Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Rossi in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Bruninho Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldinho Souto. Colômbia V.T's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruninho Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Easy United's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Berger came free, but Geraldo Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Davi Coelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geraldo Souza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Francisco Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Easy United's protests and gave Francisco Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldinho Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Rossi in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruninho Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Rossi in the 52nd minute of play forced Colômbia V.T's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Easy United's goalkeeper Geraldo Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Berger. Bruninho Souza hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Claudinho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Souza having to interfere. Geraldo Souza was a little too slow when Claudinho dos Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-1. Easy United made a substitution. Enéas Pernambucano replaced Percival Maia. If Jeremias Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Easy United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Easy United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Galvão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Jeremias Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colômbia V.T's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colômbia V.T succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Easy United had controlled the match.
