Siro Granda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iuri Sabóia in the 27th minute. Renan de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney da Costa having to interfere. The supporters of Guaraciaba SS booed when Atlantis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
