Carlos Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Emparedado's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Donatello came free, but Tarcisio Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Augusto Donatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tarcisio Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Augusto Donatello slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Tarcisio Vargas made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Zé Roberto Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Koehler charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Koehler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Emparedado's goalkeeper Tarcisio Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Velasco. Zé Augusto Donatello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Vargas made a huge save. The supporters of Monte Cristo EC booed when Emparedado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarcisio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Lodowy in the 47th minute of the match.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zé Augusto Donatello sped through Emparedado's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tarcisio Vargas. After a defensive mix-up in Emparedado's zone, Tadeu Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Vargas came out of the goal and Tadeu Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Marian Lodowy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarcisio Vargas. Emparedado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Lodowy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Monte Cristo EC's Marian Lodowy got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deivid Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zé Augusto Donatello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcisio Vargas was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 78th minute Marian Lodowy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Emparedado's Luís Guilherme Negri got a free kick in the 79th minute. Monte Cristo EC's Marian Lodowy got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Lodowy in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarcisio Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Lodowy went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Monte Cristo EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
