In the 3rd minute, Tricolor's Eriberto Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Messias to maneuver through the defense. Murillo de Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murillo de Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Murillo de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo do Valle. Tricolor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 18 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Capixaba. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lastdance FC's goalkeeper Sandro Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Trigo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Lastdance FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Trigo. Lastdance FC's Sandro Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Lastdance FC from getting a goal against them. Diogo do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo de Queirós in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Murillo de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Lastdance FC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Salgado. Sandro Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Santana in the 35th minute. Lastdance FC's Sandro Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Santana in the 37th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Eriberto Santana rounded Lastdance FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Tricolor's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Trigo came free, but Diogo do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Eriberto Santana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandro Couto. Eriberto Santana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murillo de Queirós made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Mattos. In the 61st minute, Arnaldo Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sandro Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Santana in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Lastdance FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Santana came free, but Sandro Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Lastdance FC's Murillo de Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diogo do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 81 minutes into the game, João Augusto Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tricolor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lastdance FC the free kick. João Augusto Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Murillo de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Luisinho Souto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Couto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sandro Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With his leg Diogo do Valle managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Lastdance FC's Murillo de Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tricolor could leave the field as winners, despite Lastdance FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
