Sidney da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé Nóbrega in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Simões during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Davi Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tomé Nóbrega in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidney da Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, Cesinha Vianna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidney da Costa, 2-0. Hugo Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gotham City F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Bertassi came free, but Juvenal Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Leite in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Breno Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City F.C. and the Atlantis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Gotham City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Breno Lopes. Juvenal Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Sabóia in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Iuri Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Tomé Nóbrega put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidney da Costa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Christiano Leite made the kick off in the second half. Wilian Bertassi's late challenge caught a Gotham City F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After some careless play in the Atlantis defense, Cesinha Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidney da Costa. The Atlantis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidney da Costa should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gotham City F.C. booed when Atlantis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Breno Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidney da Costa skillfully saved the ball. Hugo Teles's late challenge caught a Gotham City F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Teles helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Teles hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Breno Lopes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sidney da Costa. Atlantis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute, Wilian Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Vianna in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomé Nóbrega in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney da Costa saved Atlantis from getting behind. After 69 minutes of play, Gotham City F.C.'s Tomé Nóbrega made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes, Abel Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City F.C. and the Atlantis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomé Nóbrega in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney da Costa saved Atlantis from getting behind. Juvenal Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iuri Sabóia went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 89 minutes, Tomé Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham City F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Leite was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlantis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gotham City F.C..
