The Sanchalts F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Renan de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Caio Saraiva took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Granda. Sanchalts F.C.'s Claudinei Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sanchalts F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Sanchalts F.C.'s zone, Arlindo Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei Prestes came out of the goal and Arlindo Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinei Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Claudinei Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Arlindo Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanchalts F.C.'s Claudinei Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Arlindo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 95th minute, Jefferson Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
