Armando Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute of the match, Zé Roberto Garcia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Pinheiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. João Carlos Maranhense's late challenge caught a Tocaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
