When Eugênio Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiapetta's protests and gave Eugênio Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chiapetta's Eugênio Mattos got a free kick in the 11th minute. Chiapetta's Betinho Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Dahmen in the 12th minute of play. Jorge Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Chiapetta's Betinho Marinho got control of the ball when Nico Dahmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Tello in the 20th minute of play forced Recursolandia's goalkeeper Vic Vanpevenaeyge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiapetta's players were relieved. Nico Dahmens short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Betinho Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Betinho Marinho made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nico Dahmen sent off a good shot on target. Maria Mole kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Cléberson Zanussi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Bruninho Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Recursolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Tello came free, but Vic Vanpevenaeyge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chiapetta's Genílson Vidal got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Matías Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Dahmen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Chiapetta got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Mattos. Vic Vanpevenaeyge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Mineiro went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Recursolandia booed when Chiapetta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredão Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Betinho Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Dahmen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bruninho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiapetta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vic Vanpevenaeyge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nico Dahmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho Marinho was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Nico Dahmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Tello got free with Vic Vanpevenaeyge in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vic Vanpevenaeyge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Veiga in the 83rd minute of play. Jailson Veiga scored 0-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vic Vanpevenaeyge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Recursolandia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jailson Veiga 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chiapetta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
