Hermínio Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Coitezeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brasil FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hermínio Ribeiro hit a great ball. Lúcio Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Danilo Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nando Severo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coitezeiro's protests and gave Nando Severo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Coitezeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Severo to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jerry Rouvroys from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Matheus Gomes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Matheus Gomes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Lúcio Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Brasil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Nando Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lúcio Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Alexandre Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 43rd minute of the match Nando Severo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nando Severo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nando Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Lúcio Gaúcho scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matheus Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Silveira made a kick off. Alexandre Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matheus Gomes having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Brasil FC's Lúcio Gaúcho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matheus Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alexandre Simão struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Matheus Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasil FC. 71 minutes into the match, Coitezeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Simão came free, but Matheus Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Alexandre Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Matheus Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasil FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Simão in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matheus Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match Jerry Rouvroys shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matheus Gomes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lúcio Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Matheus Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matheus Gomes went to the wrong direction when Jerry Rouvroys was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Alexandre Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
