After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Charles Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilhena SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anhandui FC's Víktor Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Anhandui FC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Vilhena SS's Mauro Brasil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Víktor Neto. Víktor Neto came out of the goal and Charles Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Fontes's late challenge caught a Anhandui FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. Mário Fontes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Anhandui FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kaká Pena hit a great ball. With a little luck, Anhandui FC's Víktor Neto got control of the ball when Charles Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Brasils short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Víktor Neto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vilhena SS's Charles Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Anhandui FC's goalkeeper Víktor Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Brasil. The supporters of Vilhena SS booed when Anhandui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Sabóia notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vilhena SS's Yan Seco. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edson Seco made a kick off. The supporters of Anhandui FC booed when Vilhena SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Pena in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Anhandui FC's Reynaldo Sabóia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Anhandui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vilhena SS had played much better football throughout.
