After a defensive mix-up in GUARANHUNS FC's zone, Fernandinho da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Vale came out of the goal and Fernandinho da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomé Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alexandre Vale made a huge save. Alexandre Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho da Silva in the 12th minute of play. GUARANHUNS FC's Alexandre Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Duarte in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carvalho's Osvaldo Goiano got a free kick in the 21st minute. Luiz de Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kiko Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz de Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Santana hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Carvalho's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão da Silveira came free, but Kiko Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aírton Mello during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GUARANHUNS FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aírton Mello hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomé Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Vale. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. Alexandre Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Duarte in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Carvalho booed when GUARANHUNS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernandinho da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandinho da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Faria came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by GUARANHUNS FC's Alfredão da Silveira. But to his dismay, Alfredão da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alfredão da Silveira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. Alexandre Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Duarte in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to GUARANHUNS FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dieguinho Araújo hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Tomé Duarte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GUARANHUNS FC's Alexandre Vale didn't even have to move. Dieguinho Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Carvalho booed when GUARANHUNS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho da Silva in the 76th minute of play. Tomé Duarte struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. The Carvalho supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GUARANHUNS FC's performance. The match ended with a win for GUARANHUNS FC.
