The tension between the Carvalho and the Coapoa SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandinho da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernandinho da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Alessandro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Moura having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Tomé Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiko Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Alessandro Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coapoa SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carvalho's Alessandro Figueiredo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kristoffer Rudberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carvalho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Kiko Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Leão in the 30th minute of the match. Kiko Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Leão in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Tomé Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carvalho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Adalberto Moura was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and José Vítor Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Vítor Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. José Vítor Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adalberto Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomé Duarte to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Carvalho got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Pernambucano. In the 54th match minute, Carvalho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Figueiredo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Carvalho's Alessandro Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalberto Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Duarte in the 61st minute of play forced Coapoa SS's goalkeeper Adalberto Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carvalho's zone, Luizão Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Faria came out of the goal and Luizão Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Luizão Leão notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Carvalho's Kiko Faria. Kiko Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomé Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Adalberto Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Coapoa SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Duarte came free, but Adalberto Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Linares hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alessandro Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Coapoa SS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rui Fontes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Coapoa SS's Luizão Leão got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Carvalho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
