Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorginho Lopes kicked off to start the match. Benjamin Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Waldemar Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Celsinho Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Waldemar Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgard Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ice Boys Football's protests and gave Edgard Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Goiânia FC booed when Ice Boys Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei de Senna's late challenge caught a Goiânia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidnei de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Sidnei de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Dedê Fernandez made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Celsinho Sabóia however managed to control. In the 29th match minute, Ice Boys Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ice Boys Football's Waldemar Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Sabóia in the 39th minute of play. Jorge Campos was a little too slow when Jorginho Lopes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Dantas to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorginho Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Campos. Goiânia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Celsinho Sabóia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Tróia came out and tried to block the shot, but Celsinho Sabóia slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 57th minute. Goiânia FC's Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Lopes in the 62nd minute of play. Benjamin Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldemar Tróia made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Rafael Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 78th minute, Goiânia FC's Rafael Dantas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldemar Tróia. Waldemar Tróia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Rafael Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute of the game Dedê Fernandez made a throw-in which Rafael Dantas played forward. Jorginho Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Campos having to interfere.
