Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Benjamim Ceresso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cangaceiros PE's Adrianinho Saldanha. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Targinos's Benjamim Ceresso got control of the ball when Adrianinho Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrianinho Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Ceresso having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Saldanha notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Targinos's Benjamim Ceresso. Benjamim Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Targinos's Benjamim Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Targinos from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Targinos's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Saldanha came free, but Benjamim Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Romeu Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianinho Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamim Ceresso having to make a save. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Targinos's goalkeeper Benjamim Ceresso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Targinos's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Capixaba came free, but Benjamim Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Vladimir Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Danilo Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

52 minutes into the match, Jorge Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Ceresso. Targinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Benjamim Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Benjamim Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Saldanha in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute Zé Pedro Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Andrézinho Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Targinos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. When Jorge Linares came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cangaceiros PE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Linares couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Peres got free with Danilo Veloso in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 81 in the game by Andrézinho Peres from a close distance when the talented Danilo Veloso managed to make a qualified save. Cangaceiros PE's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamim Ceresso was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After 83 played minutes Cangaceiros PE got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Linares. In the 84th minute of the match João Pedro Prata sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Veloso skillfully saved the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Jorge Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Targinos's Benjamim Ceresso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Andrézinho Peres sent off a good shot on target.
