Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Saldanha started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, CARDANO's Vitinho Pereira got control of the ball when Duarte Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th match minute, CARDANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Túlio da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Cardozo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Piavore FC's Christiano Sergipano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitinho Pereira. Vitinho Pereira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 34 played minutes Piavore FC got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Andrade. CARDANO's Vitinho Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Sergipano in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Sílvio Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CARDANO and the Piavore FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Alcântara hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Eliézer Sabóia's late challenge caught a Piavore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitinho Pereira having to make a save. Osmar de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Breckenfeld in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the game, Hamílton Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vitinho Pereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Saldanha in the 60th minute of play. Rony Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Leonardo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Piavore FC booed when CARDANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Duarte Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piavore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Piavore FC's zone, Marco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar de Senna came out of the goal and Marco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes of play, CARDANO's Marco Seco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Saldanha in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piavore FC's Osmar de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Piavore FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Piavore FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Christiano Sergipano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Mandrak in the 90th minute of play forced CARDANO's goalkeeper Vitinho Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Umberto Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARDANO's protests and gave Umberto Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes CARDANO got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Moreno. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piavore FC fully deserved thier win.
