A collision led to Toca Popeye getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Amorim hit a great ball. Filipe Neiva took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué Valadares. Josué Valadares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Berger in the 11th minute of the match. When Egídio Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puiracu FC's protests and gave Egídio Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Puiracu FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Paraibano. In the 14th match minute, Toca Popeye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Marc Pettersson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Anselmo Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A sloppy throw-in by Frédson Simões in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Toca Popeye's Ulaş Aydemir. Cauã Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy de Toledo in the 20th minute of play forced Toca Popeye's goalkeeper Josué Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Toca Popeye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Puiracu FC:s goal. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toca Popeye's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osmar Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time Puiracu FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Puiracu FC's corner Osmar Silva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Josué Valadares quite easily take care of the ball. Josué Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percy de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Toca Popeye's Marc Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anselmo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Berger in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Puiracu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Berger came free, but Anselmo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Puiracu FC's Frédson Simões got a free kick in the 37th minute. Percy de Toledo made in the 47th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kauã Vieira however managed to control. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Davi Brodel made the kick off in the second half. When Cauã Berger came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Toca Popeye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Berger couldn't finish the play. Josué Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Paraibano in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Davi Brodel took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Josué Valadares to make any attempt to save it. Anselmo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Pettersson in the 62nd minute of play. Anselmo Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Puiracu FC's Anselmo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Berger in the 77th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Toca Popeye's Marc Pettersson made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toca Popeye made a substitution. Cristóvão Ribeiro replaced Cauã Berger. After a rather tough play, Toca Popeye's Oswaldo Paranaense got a free kick in the 87th minute. Filipe Neiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josué Valadares came out and tried to block the shot, but Filipe Neiva slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 90th minute. When Davi Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Puiracu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davi Brodel couldn't finish the play. Laerte Tasso hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Puiracu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Puiracu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
