Adhemar Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Enio Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rubens Travassos managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Guarulhos FC's Amílton Miranda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Rap é o Som fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarulhos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
