PALHAÇADA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valentes de Davi F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, PALHAÇADA FC's Nuno Custódio got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Barros during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes PALHAÇADA FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Barros. After 18 played minutes PALHAÇADA FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Munhoz. Ömür Akbaşak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Netto in the 27th minute of play. Ömür Akbaşak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Munhoz in the 31st minute. Guto Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Oliveira in the 32nd minute of play. Cristóvão Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Guto Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömür Akbaşak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Valentes de Davi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Netto came free, but Ömür Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Meirelles lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 44 minutes into the game, one of Valentes de Davi F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 47 minutes Valentes de Davi F.C's goalkeeper Ömür Akbaşak managed, with a little bit of luck, save Cristóvão Marquez's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Ömür Akbaşak came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by PALHAÇADA FC's Cristóvão Marquez. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Valentes de Davi F.C's Cristóvão Cunha managed to work through PALHAÇADA FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cristóvão Cunha dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ömür Akbaşak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Munhoz in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Valentes de Davi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Netto came free, but Ömür Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Barros in the 64th minute of play forced Valentes de Davi F.C's goalkeeper Ömür Akbaşak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Brito having to interfere. Valentes de Davi F.C's Ömür Akbaşak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Custódio in the 72nd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Valentes de Davi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Custódio came free, but Ömür Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömür Akbaşak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Netto in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adam Ochabski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Brito was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Cristóvão Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Netto in the 97th minute of play forced Valentes de Davi F.C's goalkeeper Ömür Akbaşak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Valentes de Davi F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Valentes de Davi F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but PALHAÇADA FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
