Guto Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Antunes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Mandrak in the 13th minute of play forced Tutoia's goalkeeper Edu Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Álvaro Tróia made a precise shot to the right of Vinícius Antunes. Cachambi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Tutoia's goalkeeper Edu Valladares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Fonseca. Marcinho Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edu Valladares having to make a save. Guto Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vinícius Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cachambi FC defense, Guto Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Antunes. The Cachambi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Antunes should have stopped the shot. Marcinho Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Tutoia's Álvaro Tróia in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachambi FC's goalie prevented a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Álvaro Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luisão Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisão Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Armando Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Antunes having to interfere. Guto Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Vinícius Antunes made a huge save. Tutoia's Edu Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Mandrak in the 76th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tutoia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
