Durval Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Rossi in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper Durval Seco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Valle. Evandro Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arapongas's zone, Chiquinho Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Alcântara came out of the goal and Chiquinho Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinho Messias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durval Seco. That made the score 1-2 in the 45 minute of play.

In the 53rd minute, Chiquinho Chaves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evandro Alcântara. The goal made the score 1-3. 59 minutes into the game, Chiquinho Chaves lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Evandro Alcântara. The supporters of Arapongas booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Marquez in the 80th minute of play. ViraLataCaramelo U18's Durval Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Valle in the 82nd minute of play. Durval Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Durval Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Rossi in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Claudinho Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapongas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ViraLataCaramelo U18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
