Água Cristal FC's Virgílio França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Vidal in the 16th minute of play. João Pedro Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgílio França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Bezerra in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Geraldo Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Madury FC booed when Água Cristal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madury FC's Waldemar Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Vidal in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Água Cristal FC's zone, Umberto Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgílio França came out of the goal and Umberto Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgílio França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho da Cunha in the 42nd minute of play. João Pedro Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Bittencourt to make the kick off. The supporters of Madury FC booed when Água Cristal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Madury FC's protests and gave Augusto Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Água Cristal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Simões to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Água Cristal FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bernardinho Azevedo hit a great ball. Umberto Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes in the game Augusto Vergílio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Germano Custódio. In the 88th minute of the match, João Pedro Vidal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgílio França saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Michel Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Madury FC played a much better game than Água Cristal FC and deserved their victory. The Água Cristal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
