Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Pedro Pires got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jano Donatello in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edu Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arthur Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edu Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Arthur Albuquerque who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furados's Edu Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Furados got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Ramalho. 20 minutes into the match, SUBIRUS F.C's Placido Abarca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edu Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tiago Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Placido Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUBIRUS F.C's protests and gave Placido Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SUBIRUS F.C's Placido Abarca got a free kick in the 28th minute. Furados's Arnaldo Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iason Christofis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Pires in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of SUBIRUS F.C booed when Furados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Edu Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SUBIRUS F.C. In the 41st minute Arthur Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Edu Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arthur Albuquerque to make the kick off. The SUBIRUS F.C fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when SUBIRUS F.C's Arthur Albuquerque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 56th minute, Arthur Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Márcio Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Christofis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edu Maia having to interfere. A hard shot 68 in the game by Arthur Albuquerque from a close distance when the talented Edu Maia managed to make a qualified save. Furados's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Arthur Albuquerque sped through Furados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edu Maia. SUBIRUS F.C's Jorginho Mota was substituted for Denílson Bastos. SUBIRUS F.C's Iason Christofis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Pires in the 84th minute of play. Erik Ferraz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Erik Ferraz's late challenge caught a Furados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. José Pedro Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edu Maia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. The SUBIRUS F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SUBIRUS F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
